Recently, P&A has purchased and installed a new BLM Dynam3 variable radius tube bender. The Dynam3 is one of the most sought after technologies in today’s tube processing market and is a perfect complement to our (2) existing BLM tube laser cells. The DYNAM3 allows the production of complex components without straight sections between the bends. This tube bender has a variable radius function which allows for bends of different radiuses to be made on the same part. This function can be integrated into the same bending program as standard draw bending, opening up a wide range of applications, avoiding rebend operations on the machine, and saving up to
50% of processing time.
The Software
With the purchase of this Dynam3 tube bender P&A has also acquired a seat of VGP3D - Innovative 3D Visual Programming and simulating software. This software assists in reducing setup times and increase productivity, dramatically reducing dependence on operator skills.
